Ceremony Moments

I don't know about you, but my favorite part of a Wedding is the Ceremony.

Everyone is paying attention.  All is motionless.

The bride has walked up, what a moment.  Excitement, nerves, smiles, tears.

Walking in.  Walking out.  It takes courage.  Deliver Courage and you are FAMOUS :)

The children look fabulous, even surrounded by feet.  They pay attention every now and again, yet they remember a lot of this day.

Stillness.  A Moment.  In Time.  As the years pass, can you remember this without the image?

These Bridesmaids may have, but when we see the image, we remember more.  We feel the moment.

"Who has the rings?  Face your beloved."  Sometimes, you just can't keep it together, Man or Woman.

Just ask this Groom.  Would he have remembered kissing her ring as they walked back down the aisle?  I'm not part of his family or his friend, yet I will not forget -not today, not ever.  Of course, I have a very visual mind.

WHEW HEW!! When Laura and Dave walked out from their Ceremony, they had an amazingly warm welcome from their friends, their family, the staff, the Keys wildlife.  OMG !! Some moments in life just happen.  Spontaneous.  Treasured.  Captured.  Proud Photographer who loves her job right here.  Smile.

All of this post describes my passion for my job through my eyes.  And the eyes of my team.  Yet this image.  Number 10.  Is one of my favorites, because I am a parent.  My son is 11 years old this year.  I pray that as a parent, I will feel the same love from my son and his lovely wife when they deliver hugs to me and to her parents.  On their Wedding Day.  As I see.  And feel.  Looking at this photograph.

A Wedding is so much more than an event, it is a moment in a life. A families life.  A couples Life. A friends life.  It is life.

Jenna & Sean - Caribbean Catering

Sean and Jenna were married recently at the Southern Diversion Estate in Islamorada.  Aimee Gilman was their photographer, she captured the bright tropical day, the true love they share, and their totally cool details.

I personally love their directional totem - created of places most special, the flip flop buckets, Jenna's beaded foot jewelry featuring her starfish theme, the custom wooden boxes for the rings, and the beer cozies - "What a Keeper".

The Ceremony begins.  Jayelyn was the most adorable flowergirl :)

Guests watch from beneath palm trees along the ocean as Jenna and Sean recite their vows.

Family members read touching words as do the Bride and Groom.

Then Ta Da, First Kiss.  This day will never be forgotten and often thought of.
All of guests gather for a photo with the Bride and Groom, while Jaelyn decided she would pose for a photo with the bride and groom all to herself.

Jenna and Sean are a very relaxed and happy couple.  They have each other, their family and friends, a perfect Wedding Day :)

After a fabulous meal prepared by Dave from Caribbean Catering, the Dancing and festivities begin.  Good times are had by all.

Sparklers of Love.  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Poling.

Theresa & Dave - Curry Hammock & Hawks Cay

Theresa and Dave were married on the beach at Curry Hammock State Park in Marathon.  Jill Atkinson from Mile Marker Party Rentals performed the Ceremony.

Theresa chose beautiful sandals and had a Greek Goddess style that was graceful and elegant.  I love the flowing elements of her dress in the tropical breezes at the Gazebo at Hawk's Cay Resort.

Creative ideas for the reception included message in a bottle name placements and guests signed shells with well wishes and placed them in a beautiful container for Theresa and Dave's new home.

After the Wedding, the Wedding Party, together with the Bride and Groom traveled via Limo to Hawks Cay for Romantic Photos and their Reception.  Fun was the story of the night.  Dave's Groomsmen played baseball, made a pyramid, and became a couch for the bride.  What a team effort !!

Theresa and Dave's Photographer was Paula Vieceli, she did a great job capturing their spirit :)  Don't forget to incorporate lots of fun into your Wedding and your life together as husband and wife.  Looks like Theresa and Dave are off to years of good times together!  Congratulations from us here at McLaughlin Photo & Video.
