Candice and Jason - Key Largo Marriott

Candice and Jason were married recently at the Key Largo Marriott Bay Resort. Aimee Gilman was their photographer and captured these lovely candid moments from the Wedding.

Candice and Jason included friends and family in every element of their Wedding.

Candice was a stunning bride whose less is more style and beautiful features resemble Marilyn Monroe.

The Marriott offered great views in every direction and Mother Nature provided another stunning sunset for this happy couple from Kansas :)

Kerry & Brandon - Morada Bay

Kerry and Brandon started their Destination Beach Wedding at Cheeca Lodge and Spa. Their they stayed for some well earned pampering.

Kerry chose rich Calla Lilly Bouquets from Floral Fantasy, Mile Marker Party Rentals, and Jen from We've got the Keys for her Wedding Coordinator.

They were married by the leaning palm tree over looking Florida Bay. Guests watched the romantic Ceremony under umbrellas in peaceful silence.

The Wedding Reception took place at Morada Bay Cafe under the most amazing tent. Couples usually think of a tent only for the possibility of rain. But, a tent with flowing chiffon, chandeliers and a sand floor brings together a group in an elegant way.

Thank you to Mette Biglin for the lovely photos :)

Jamie and Ben - Coconut Palm Inn

Occasionally, we do get rain here in the Florida Keys and on one recent Saturday, we got lots of it.

It was Jamie and Ben's Wedding Day.

Jamie and Ben embraced the rain. So did their friends and family.

Once Ben started reading his vows to Jamie everything was bright.

The guys wore rope sandals, the girls wore coral sun dresses, and the flower girls and ring bearer wore white linen. All was as it should be.

Caribbean Catering served up tuna nachos after the Wedding as everyone hugged and enjoyed being together.

Jamie had unique details she included from members of her family including her jewelry. She is also a photographer and had lots of cool ideas she wanted to capture. Would the rain take away her dreams ?

As a Wedding Photographer, you meet lots of amazing couples. I think each of us here at McLaughlin Photo & Video have had magical moments where we get goose bumps or cry right on the spot.

For me, this happened during Jamie and Ben's First Dance as husband and wife. It was their dream to dance on the pier over the waters of Florida Bay. In the pouring rain, out they went to dance.

I with my umbrella wrestled the wind and let my camera get soaked. It was so worth it. To see how much love these two share. To see them live their Wedding Dream.

We went back to the spirited party, where great times were in progress even though we were soggy.

Everyone danced together.

They even danced in front of the iphone for the best man who could not make it.

Congratulations Jamie and Ben. You are one amazing couple. And I will never forget your first dance.
