Allison and Malin chose the Chesapeake Resort and Caribbean Catering for their Destination Beach Wedding in Islamorada. Smart Couple :)
Allison chose Navy Blue and Key Lime Green as her theme colors and Floral Fantasy created beautiful Center pieces for the tables and bouquets for her Bridal Party.
Their day was windy with a stunning sunset. They even had an unexpected guest arrive during the cocktail party - that's right a kite surfer landed, fortunately safely on the beach right in front of the party. Only in Islamorada right - Everyone enjoyed the surprise. In my 15 years of shooting Weddings here, this was a first for me too.
Gillian DeSantis a very close friend of the Bride and Groom performed the Ceremony. She was barefoot reading from a Peanuts Folder with the ocean at her back and palm trees swaying above. Her words were spoken from the heart. We were all laughing, emotional, choked up, and smiling throughout this lovely Ceremony.
The reception featured a live band that kept the guests dancing under the lights, Chef Dave's awesome Crab Cakes - they are made of crab with just a little glue to hold the meat together and served with a tasty yummy sauce, and a casual laid back evening of socializing together on an island.

Donna, I just love looking at the images you capture! It transports me right back to when Mike and I got married at the Marriott in 2006. I was just talking to my parents the other day about and what a fabulous job you did! As always your images are stunning!
